Yes. Skunks spray when they feel cornered, so the method matters more than the trap. We use humane live trapping set so the animal stays calm, which is why we do this rather than leaving a homeowner to handle it.
No, inspections are always free. We locate the den, work out how it is getting in and check whether young are present, then quote the trapping and the exclusion so each part of the price is visible before you commit to anything.
Sealing the den. Trapping removes the animal but leaves the sheltered space that attracted it, so a new one takes it over. We close the entrances and, where needed, dig a barrier in around the base of the deck or shed.
